Unimax Tire Ltd. Holds The First ExpoMax Tire and Auto Service Trade Show

Earlier this year, Unimax Tire brought together all of its tire and auto service banners for a one-of-a-kind event. Held on January 16 and 17 at the Saint-Hyacinthe Convention Centre, the inaugural EXPOMAX trade show was a resounding success, drawing more than 600 dealers and suppliers.Day one was dedicated to dealers from Point S, the largest tire and auto service banner in Eastern Canada. Through a series of presentations, Point S revealed its plans for 2019 and introduced new products, upcoming marketing campaigns, and new dealer services.

On day two, for the very first time, all Unimax Tire banners—including V1, Otobox, Max Plus Tires, Prestige Tire, and MÉGA PNEU—were united under the same roof. Among the items on the agenda were presentations for V1 and Otobox dealers about product lines and 2019 advertising strategies for their respective banners. The dealers were unanimous in their enthusiasm. “It’s Unimax Tire’s responsibility to stand by its dealers and help them confront their competitors and challenges within the industry,” says Bruno Leclair, president and CEO of Unimax Tire Ltd. “The response from the dealers was very positive. We plan to keep the same format in 2020!”

Over 70 suppliers were in attendance to meet with the dealers and answer their questions, providing dealers with a great opportunity to learn more about tires, auto services, windshields, and vehicle accessories.
